Why Choose Online Tutoring?

In light of the disruption the pandemic has had on schooling around the world, the beauty of online tutoring is that lessons take place in the home with no concerns about social distancing. Working remotely means I can help children with maths difficulties around the world during both term-time and holidays if desired.

Children are often very comfortable in front of laptops or tablets and I've found some pupils flourish online compared with face-to-face lessons. They enjoy the feeling of working more independently without a teacher 'peering' over their shoulder!

I have created my own virtual resources and manipulatives that allow lessons to still feel fun and practical. A virtual whiteboard means that we can share ideas and videos can add an extra dimension to the learning.
